Preparing Rice Using Boiling Method

If you are one of those who could not seem to resist the texture and taste of rice, you probably have discovered that there are many ways in which you could cook rice.

One of the easiest ways to prepare rice for your daily meal is through the boiling method. You will find that using this method, you will have tender grains of rice that are best served as part of your dish.

If you are thinking of preparing white rice, the boiling method works perfectly.

A common question that is usually associated with preparing rice is how much cooked rice will you have when you cook one cup of uncooked rice.

When we look at Western Rice Mills’ product page, you will find several brands of long grain white rice as well as medium white rice.

In the case of Plantation U.S. Long Grain White Rice, you will see that one cup of uncooked rice yields three (3) cups of cooked rice.

Once you have the cooked rice, you can be creative whether you want to use rice for your other food preparations, such as soups or salads.

The boiling method can best be applied to almost all white rice.
