Looking for vibrant, easy ways to win over the so-called Winter emotions?

Cold, harsh, snowy weather is not unusual and is something to be expected during the Winter season. We could go through that downward spiral path or we could do something with it, so that at the end of the day, we remain calm, balanced and relaxed.

But how do we achieve a winning feeling when you are challenged with your environment and climate that could cause you to feel low and not able to fully focus on your work and other chores?

One of the best remedies we could do is to boost our energy!

Do some mental and physical exercise. Meditate and think about good health. Think about the moments when you feel happy and engaging. In other words, think about positive energy.

With that, think about how to nourish your body with the necessary nutrients. Get yourself some healthy foods that will help increase your energy level. Foods such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Bananas complement your after-workout activity. You can also include some almonds, peanut butter and oatmeal in your diet, depending on your nutritional needs. These foods are rich in protein and fibre.

For plant-based diet, green leafy-vegetables are among your best bet along with healthy grains, such as brown rice. Also, you might want to explore some recipes that would include quinoa, as well as legumes. You can explore adding some beans and lentils. There are so many ways you can be creative with an energy-boosting diet.
