BC-based Rice Distributor Wins Dispute for a Domain Name

Richmond, BC, Canada – July 16, 2012 – BC-based Canadian company, Western Rice Mills, Ltd. is pleased to announce that the domain name dispute for westernricemills.ca was finally settled.

Based on the decision rendered on April 14, 2012 by the panel consisting of Claude Freeman, W.A. Derry Millar and Elizabeth Cuddihy (Chair), the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) effectively awarded and transferred the domain name westernricemills.ca to Western Rice Mills Ltd.

Western Rice Mills Ltd. filed the complaint on February 7, 2012 and the domain name transfer officially took effect on May 24, 2012.
