Western Rice Mills Achieves Non-GMO Project Certification

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - Western Rice Mills Ltd., a leading Canadian global rice company and organic food products distributor, recently announced that its company has earned a Non-GMO Project Certification for its organic products carrying Western Rice Mills and Grande Harvest brand names.

Among the products that have been verified by NSF International include: Organic Brown Jasmine Rice, Organic Long Grain Brown Rice, Organic Short Grain Brown Rice and Organic White Jasmine Rice.

Compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard is determined by NSF International, an independent organization, using a document-based evaluation. NSF International also carries out onsite inspection of production facilities.
