Richmond-BC- Western Rice Mills Ltd. is delighted to announce that it has recently received certification from the Fraser Valley Organic Producers Association (FVOPA) for its organic quinoa products.

Western Rice Mills Receives Organic Certification for Quinoa Products

The organic certification issued by FVOPA to Western Rice Mills pertains to Golden Royal and Grande Harvest Organic Quinoa products, including white quinoa, red quinoa and tri-colour quinoa.

Organic certification is a form of assurance to consumers that the products they are buying passed a rigorous and systematic process, as required by organic standards and in compliance with specifications and technical regulations.

The certification is evaluated by independent auditors or third-party inspectors and assessed by a certification committee. Verification Officers are qualified inspectors who are part of the International Organic Inspectors Association (IOIA).
