Jasmine rice is a lovely, subtly perfumed rice used across South East Asia.
Step 1
Scoop 3 cups of rice (for family of 4) into the rice basin.
Step 2
Rinse only once.
Step 3
Add water 4.5 cups (water 1.5: Rice 1) into the rice basin.
1 Teaspoon of salt (Optional)
Step 4
After placing the rice basin into the rice cookier and switching cooker on, do not lift the lid or stir rice during cooking time, as the aroma will diminish.
Step 5
When rice is cooked, fluff with a fork and serve hot and fragrant.
